Ho Chi Minh Museum in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh Museum is located on the Dragon House Wharf which used to be the main office of the United Transportation Firm built at the beginning of the 20th century.The museum mostly displays pictures and objects relating to President Ho Chi Minh, the greatest leader of all time.

Ho Chi Minh Museum is located on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City or specifically located on the Dragon House Wharf.

The Dragon House Wharf, originally called Nha Rong, is located at the junction of the Ben Nghe Channel and the Saigon River. It was built in 1863 and served as the office of a French shipping company. From there, Nguyen Tat Thanh, later President Ho Chi Minh, set sail on a French ship named Admiral Latouche Treville in June 1911.

In September 1979, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City chose Nha Rong as the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Dragon House Wharf. The name was taken from the two dragon-shaped symbols on the top of the building. Over time, approximately ten million people, both domestic and foreign visitors in Vietnam travel, have visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum. In addition, events such as artistic festivals and the introduction of new members into the Youth Union and Communist Party have been held in this museum.

In order to have a thorough understanding of President Ho Chi Minh, foreign tourists joining tours in Vietnam should not miss this museum when coming to Ho Chi Minh City.

Mau Son Moutain in Vietnam

Visiting Mau Son Mountain of Lang Son province, visitors in Vietnam tourism will not only have chance to enjoy the wonderful landscapes, fresh atmosphere, but also have chance to learn about the local tradition and culture by joining the daily life of ethnic minority groups.

Mau Son Mountain is located in Loc Binh District, about 30km from Lang Son City to Mau Son Tourist Area.

Mau Son itself has more than 80 large and small mountains, of which the highest is Nui Cha Mountain which is 1,541 meters high and Me Mountain 1,520m. Mau Son has a temperate climate and the average temperature is 15 degrees Celsius  so it is really cool in summer and very cold in winter.

The area is endowed with a biodiversity system with more than 1,500 hectares of primeval forest which is home to many rare flora and fauna species. There are many streams from the peak to the foot of the mountain, creating magnificent and splendid waterfalls.

Besides admiring romantic landscapes, tourists in Vietnam travel reaching Mau Son can learn about old cultures of ethnic peoples of Dao, Tay and Nung.

Mau Son was formerly an ideal destination for vacations with many spacious and luxurious villas in Tam Dao and Sapa. However, during the revolution wars, many of the villas were destroyed.

Visitors to Mau Son have an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful landscape, fresh atmosphere and learn about local tradition and culture by joining in the daily life of some ethnic minority groups.

Local authorities in Mau Son are planning to develop infrastructure as well as public services to promote tourism. In the future, Mau Son will be developed to become a tourist area with mountain climbing, sightseeing, and recreation.
